A proven recipe for Twix Caramel Cake - very tasty and quite easy to prepare.

Ingredients for making dough (shortbread)
- 180 gr flour
- 60 gr sugar
- 125 gr margarine
Ingredients for making caramel
- 250 gr sugar
- 50 gr water
- 200 gr condensed milk
- 50 gr. creamy milk
Ingredients for making chocolate icing
- 200 gr milk chocolate
- 50 gr cream
Making the dough is quite simple by following the steps below.
prepare a deep bowl for kneading the dough. Pour flour, sugar and chopped margarine into cubes;
roughly mix all the ingredients with a spoon, and then continue kneading with your hands to make a soft dough;
put the kneaded dough (you don’t need to roll it out, just flatten it on the sheet with your hands) into a mold and send it to bake at a temperature of 180 ° C; baking time ranges from 30 to 45 minutes. How the dough looks on the sheet can be seen in the photo;
after the time has elapsed, when the dough is browned, remove it from the oven and cool.
Next, we will prepare the cream - caramel
prepare a saucepan or bowl with a thick bottom. Pour sugar there and pour 50 grams of water;
turn on medium heat and put a pan of sugar on it. Boil sugar and watch its shade, it should turn brown.
while the sugar is being cooked, we mix the condensed milk with butter, pour it into a cup and send it to heat in the microwave or on the stove for 20-25 minutes;
both masses, namely caramel and a mixture of butter with condensed milk, are combined and quickly mixed;
while still hot cream - caramel is placed on the baked sand cake.

Twix Caramel Cake can be served as a cake or immediately cut into pieces - bars. You can use this wonderful pastry with almost any drink, but, for my taste, it goes best with tea, coffee or milk. Bon appetit!
