instructions
How to bake biscuit cakes
- First you need to bake the tortoise shell biscuit. Therefore, we begin to prepare the dough.
- Crack the eggs into the bowl and beat.
- Add sugar.
- We extinguish the soda with vinegar and add to the flour.
- We pour everything into the bowl.
- Add cocoa, mix and get a beautiful coffee dough, not very thick.
- We heat up the oven. When serving a biscuit, it should have a high temperature (200 ° C).
- Pour the dough onto a parchment-lined sheet with a dessert spoon. We form small drops, leaving a little space for spreading. Bake the biscuits for about 15 minutes.
How to make Turtle Sour Cream
- Cream for the cake is easy to prepare: whip sour cream with a fork with sugar. It is better not to take a mixer, sour cream can float and give water.
How to assemble and decorate the Turtle Biscuit Cake
- Before assembling the cake, ready-made biscuit cakes need to be cooled and then we form the cake itself.
- We take the shortbread, dip it in the cream, cover the bottom of the dish (we don’t save the cream). Then, stack layers on top of each other, forming a kind of slide. When the cake is made, it resembles a tortoise shell, from which, as you probably already understood yourself, the name came from.
- "Turtle" fill with glaze.
- To do this, melt the chocolate and slightly dilute with milk.
- Let the biscuit stand warm and soak for an hour.
- Then, we hide it in the refrigerator. The cream and icing will set slightly and the cake will not fall apart when cut.
