Honey cake Ryzhik with butter cream with condensed milk
Delicious and not too sweet honey cake Ryzhik can be made at home quite simply. There are no complicated ingredients, you can bake cakes with honey, cook butter cream with condensed milk and decorate the Ryzhik cake very quickly. A recipe with step-by-step photos will help you do everything right the first time.
To prepare the dough you will need:
- 3 eggs;
- 1 glass of granulated sugar;
- 100 gr butter;
- 2 tbsp honey;
- 1 tsp soda (do not extinguish!);
- 3.5 cups flour.
Cream is prepared from:
- a can of boiled condensed milk;
- 200 gr butter.

How to bake honey cakes
Beat the eggs with sugar, but not with a blender, but with a regular whisk (no foam is needed) until the sugar dissolves.
Add oil, honey, mix.
We put the pan on the fire, bring to the complete dissolution of the oil. Add baking soda, boil for another minute.
Remove from heat, cool slightly, start adding flour.
The dough should be quite thick, dense and soft.
We spread the dough on a board with flour, roll out a narrow "sausage". “We cut it into slices, roll it into balls, let it lie under a towel.
We roll out each ball to a thickness of 1-2 mm so that the canvas of the board shines through. Cut into the shape of a large plate.
We put it on an enameled baking sheet, bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 2-3 minutes, take out a thin cake and put it in a slide to cool.
So we bake all the cakes. In the photo you can see how many honey cakes I got. The height of the cake will depend on their number.
How to make butter cream with condensed milk
Beat room temperature butter with a mixer until its color changes to white. Add boiled condensed milk. We achieve a uniform structure.
We coat the cake, put another one on it and again coat it with cream.
Add as many layers as you need for the height of the cake.
We put something round on a stack of cakes (I used a plate), cut the cakes along the edge. Trimming will be used for sprinkling on top of the cake.
Coat the cake with cream on the sides and top.
It remains only to decorate our homemade honey cake. Grind the dry cake without cream into grains and sprinkle the edges of the cake.
Pour the cake trimmings randomly on a layer of cream on top of the cake.
We put the finished Ryzhik cake in the cold for at least 2 hours.
