Chocolate sponge cake on kefir for Strawberry Glade, Brownie and other homemade desserts
Eggs and sugar are the basis of a classic biscuit. But according to such recipes, the biscuit cake turns out to be a little dry and requires additional impregnation with syrup. Usually, very tasty cakes come out only with impregnation from classic biscuits. And such a chocolate biscuit on kefir, which I want to offer today, always turns out, so to speak, wet or damp. A variety of delicious homemade desserts come out of these cakes. For example, Brownie cake or Strawberry Glade cake, a step-by-step recipe with a photo of which I will also show in this post.
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 2 cups of flour;
- 1 glass of kefir;
- 1 teaspoon of soda;
- 2 tbsp. spoons of cocoa;
- 200 gr. sour cream;
- jam.
I note that in the recipe a glass of 250 ml is taken.
How to cook a chocolate biscuit on kefir in the oven
Beat eggs at medium speed. Add sugar and increase the speed to maximum.
Add a glass of flour and soda. We beat.
Pour in the rest of the flour. Add kefir and cocoa. We continue to beat.
We get chocolate dough, moderately liquid (thicker than pancakes). Fill out the form for them. As you can see in the photo, I took a silicone mold, but if the biscuit is baked in a ceramic or metal mold, then it must be greased with any oil or lined with parchment.
The dough in the oven rises before our eyes. It can be seen that its volume is doubled.
We take out the finished cake. Cool down.
How to make a strawberry meadow cake
The cake came out with a kind of slide, but we won’t worry - we will decorate the cake. We cut our kefir biscuit lengthwise into two parts.
Lubricate the lower part with liquid strawberry jam syrup.
Top with light sour cream. To prepare it, you just need to stir sour cream with sugar.
Pour sour cream onto the top cake and decorate with jam strawberries.
Delicious, simple and quick to prepare homemade kefir cake Strawberry Glade is ready.
We can eat.
I want to give a couple more tips about kefir cakes:
- If you definitely need a cake with a flat surface, then after removing it from the mold, it is worth turning it over and giving it a little time to stand upside down so that it settles.
- The second way to avoid "slides" when baking is to wrap the pan with foil before putting it in the oven.
- If the cake breaks during removal from the mold, you can simply cut it into medium-sized pieces and form an Anthill or Turtle .
