Bounty no-bake chocolate roll with coconut filling

Ingredients:
- cookies - 350 gr;
- butter - 200 gr;
- cocoa powder - 4 tablespoons;
- water -170 ml;
- granulated sugar - 100 gr;
- powdered sugar - 130 gr;
- shavings of coconut - 50 gr.
For making chocolate roll cookies, it is better to choose shortbread cookies so that they are crumbly and crumble well. For my recipe, I picked up a delicious and fresh cookies with baked milk.
Be sure to take natural butter. Substitutes such as spread or soft margarine can spoil the amazing taste of the roll. To quickly prepare the filling, you just need to take the butter out of the refrigerator a few hours before cooking the roll so that it softens.
How to make a bounty roll without baking
And so, for starters, we need to break the cookies into large pieces with our hands and then, using a blender, grind it into crumbs.
If you don’t have such a kitchen helper as a blender, don’t worry, you can simply put the cookies on a cutting board and crush them with a rolling pin.
Next, we need to boil water and pour sugar with hot water.
Stir with a spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved in boiling water.
Pour crushed cookies into a bowl and add cocoa powder.
Pour hot water with sugar into this bowl and begin to stir the ingredients little by little with a spoon.
Then, knead the dough with your hands. As a result, we should get such an elastic, uniform bun of chocolate cookie dough.
Let's make the coconut filling. Soft butter cut into large pieces.
Put the butter, coconut flakes, icing sugar in a bowl and mix all the components of the filling with a fork or spoon until smooth.

Try to distribute the coconut filling in a thin layer over the chocolate cookie base.
Now, we begin to gently twist the roll. I start rolling from the smaller side.
We wrap the formed chocolate cookie roll in cling film and put it in the freezer for one hour.
Slightly frozen dessert is freed from the film and carefully cut with a sharp knife. Serve with tea, coffee, cocoa or non-sweet compote.
