I love homemade cakes, especially cakes. But to make a cake, you always need a lot of ingredients, some of them are not always at hand. That's why? I have a version of a very economical cake with the simplest ingredients. Its extraordinary taste and simplicity conquered all my family and friends. Mulatochka made a homemade chocolate cake on boiling water the other day, taking a step-by-step photo of the cooking process. I am sharing this recipe now.
And so, what do we need for the test:
granulated sugar - 1 cup;
cocoa powder - 0.5 cups;
soda - 1 teaspoon;
vanilla essence - 3 drops;
apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp.
spoon; water (boiling water) - 1 cup;
premium wheat flour - 1.5 cups;
vegetable oil (odorless) - 0.5 cups.
For glaze:
cocoa powder - 2-3 tbsp.
spoons; granulated sugar - 5 tbsp.
spoons; sour cream - 2 tbsp.
spoons; milk - 1 tbsp. spoon.
For decoration:
roasted peanuts - 30 grams;
mint - 2 sprigs.

In a convenient container, mix sugar, cocoa powder so that there are no lumps.
Add soda. Extinguish with vinegar. Pour in vegetable oil. Mix. Drip vanilla essence. Mix.
Pour boiling water, in small portions, stirring so that there are no lumps. The dough will immediately acquire a beautiful chocolate color.
Sift the flour, add in small portions and mix the dough until smooth.
The consistency of the chocolate dough for the cake should be like fat sour cream.
Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. Put the dough into a mold.
Send the form to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the dough for 40-50 minutes, depending on the characteristics of the oven. Ready to taste with a wooden skewer.
How to make icing on sour cream
When the cake is ready, you need to prepare the glaze. To do this, mix sugar, cocoa, sour cream in a saucepan. Stir until smooth, pour in milk and mix again. Send the glaze to the fire. Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves. When the glaze has become homogeneous and large bubbles have appeared, it is ready.

It turns out very juicy, therefore, cream is not necessary for it. "Wet" chocolate biscuit perfectly complements the chocolate icing.
Pieces of cake melt in your mouth and are eaten very quickly. Therefore, such quick baking is enough for a small family of sweet teeth. If the family is large, then it is better to make two servings.
