Simple Zebra cake on kefir with sour cream
Any hostess who loves to bake homemade cakes has probably tried to cook a cake called Zebra at least once. I also baked this simple and delicious dessert more than once, sometimes changing its ingredients. For example, now I want to offer you a very beautiful and simple recipe for a kefir cake, the cakes of which are smeared with cream made from sour cream and sugar. Zebra cake on kefir attracts both with its taste and the availability of the products used, and, of course, with its appearance. Ingredients:
- egg - 3 pieces;
- sugar - 1 cup (+ for cream 0.5 cup);
- kefir - 1 glass;
- plain flour - 2 cups;
- baking powder - 1 teaspoon;
- cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons;
- sour cream for cream - 0.5 cup;
- butter - 10 gr (required for the form).
How to bake a zebra cake at home
Having prepared the necessary ingredients for home baking, you need to knead the dough. We break chicken eggs into a suitable die, then add only one glass of granulated sugar. The rest of the sugar is required for sour cream.
Whisk the products introduced at the first culinary step.
Pour kefir into the resulting sweet mass. We mix.
Next, sprinkle the flour into the die in small parts. Along with the flour, add the baking powder for the dough.
Thoroughly mix the ingredients with a mixer. This is the dough for the Zebra should turn out.
Let's divide it into two halves. Add cocoa powder to one half. We mix.
We turn on the oven, set the temperature parameters to 180 degrees.
Let's start forming a striped cake. Place 2 tbsp in the center of the oiled pan. spoons of white dough.

Lubricate the lower layer with sour cream (just mix sour cream and sugar).
