Banana roll - a recipe for how to cook a biscuit roll with banana and butter cream

Homemade delicious banana biscuit dough roll combined with delicate buttercream is a real treat and it shatters in no time. This recipe will help you easily prepare a biscuit dessert yourself, using only natural products.

What is required for cooking:

  • eggs - 4 pieces;
  • sugar - half a glass;
  • vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon;
  • wheat flour - half a glass;
  • butter - 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • whipped cream - 1/4 cup;
  • honey (maple or sugar syrup) - 2 teaspoons;
  • banana - 1 piece (preferably large);
  • Berries, candied fruits or grated chocolate (optional).

How to make a biscuit roll

We beat the eggs into a deep bowl, add vanilla and sugar there. Whip these ingredients into a homogeneous mass. Ideally, you should get a creamy liquid, the consistency of thick sour cream.

Now, pour the flour into the bowl in small portions and, after each such portion, mix everything thoroughly so that lumps do not turn out.

After stirring, add butter (melted) and 2 teaspoons of honey, if you do not like honey, then maple or ordinary sugar syrup.

Once again, gently knead everything.

We turn on the oven in advance at 180 degrees and warm it up.

Grease a baking sheet with butter and pour the prepared biscuit dough onto it, bake for 10-15 minutes. We make sure that the dough does not dry out, but only slightly browned.

Turn off the oven and let the biscuit for the roll cool there to room temperature.

We take out the cooled cake and grease with whipped cream. From above, on the cream, lay out the banana slices (if desired, you can put a whole banana on the edge of the cake) and roll the roll the tighter.

Lubricate the top of the roll with sugar syrup, crush with powdered sugar, you can sprinkle with grated chocolate. If there are fresh berries or candied fruits, then they can additionally decorate the biscuit roll.

Send the decorated and decorated dessert to the refrigerator for impregnation and solidification.
