Cottage cheese roll with cream cream - a recipe for how to make a cottage cheese biscuit for a roll

Delicate cottage cheese roll with cream, prepared according to this simple recipe, turns out to be very tasty. But not everyone knows how to bake the cottage cheese biscuit used here, which can be baked not only for a delicious roll, but also for making a homemade cake. The cottage cheese, which is part of the dough, makes the cake unusual and especially tasty. Such a dessert, for sure, will not leave indifferent any sweet tooth. Let's start cooking.

The composition of the biscuit dough:

- cottage cheese, 200 gr;

- sugar, ½ cup;

- chicken egg, 3 pcs.;

- starch, 4 tablespoons;

- flour, 2 tablespoons;

- baking powder, 1 tsp;

- vanillin, to taste.

The composition of the roll cream:

- cream, 300 gr. (fat. 35%);

- sugar, 2 tablespoons;

- lemon juice, to taste;

- gelatin, 2 tsp

For decoration:

- walnuts or peanuts, 30-50 gr;

- powdered sugar.

How to cook cottage cheese roll with cream

Pour gelatin with cooled boiled water (6 tablespoons) and leave for a while to swell. We will use it to make cream, but for now let's take a cottage cheese biscuit.

In a deep bowl, mix cottage cheese, flour, yolks, starch, vanillin and baking powder for dough.

Separately, beat the proteins and sugar until a stable foam forms, and then, slowly and gently stirring, introduce them into the mixture with the cottage cheese.

We cover the baking sheet with paper and spread the resulting dough on it with a thin layer (about 1 cm). We put the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 ° C.

When the cake is ready, take it out of the oven and twist it into a roll (you don’t need to remove the paper yet) and leave it to cool completely.

We heat the swollen gelatin in a water bath and cool. Then, mix it with sugar, lemon juice, cream and beat thoroughly - the filling is ready. We separate a small part in order to grease the roll on top.

We level the curd biscuit, remove the paper, grease it with the filling, evenly distributing it over the surface.

We turn the roll, coat it on top, sprinkle with chopped nuts. You can not grease the roll with cream, but simply sprinkle with powdered sugar.
