To bake honey cake layers you need to have:

honey - 3 tablespoons;

eggs - 3 pieces;

flour - 2.5-3 cups;

sugar - ⅔ cup;

baking powder - half a teaspoon.

How to make dough for honey cakes.

Place honey, eggs, sugar in a mixing bowl or a suitable bowl and beat with a mixer.

Pour the whipped mass into a deep bowl, add the baking powder and, of course, the flour itself. Knead this dough. It will stick a little to your hands, but that's how it should be. Just dust it with a little flour.

Next, the kneaded dough must be cut into 3 parts. Roll out each piece on parchment paper. The thickness of the rolled dough should be about half a centimeter.

From each layer, cut into strips (like a cookie stick) 1 centimeter thick. Distribute all the pieces on a baking sheet.

Set the temperature in the oven to 200 degrees, let it warm up and bake the chopped cakes for 5 to 6 minutes.

How to make curd cream for honey cake

The next step is to prepare the cream. For this you need to have:

sour cream (20% fat) - 800 grams;

sweet vanilla-curd mass, which can be replaced with soft cottage cheese with sugar and vanilla (proportions of sugar and cottage cheese to your taste) - 600 grams.

To prepare it you do not need much time and effort. Simply, put the curd mass and ordinary sour cream in one container and mix thoroughly until the two components are completely combined. On this, the curd cream is ready.

How to assemble and decorate a cottage cheese cake at home.

First you need to choose a shape and cover it with foil to start creating this delicate and wonderful dessert.

First of all, lay out a layer of cream, baked honey cakes - sticks on it, then - cream again and so on. The upper tier - there must be a layer of honey sticks.

When all the layers are applied, the curd cake should be covered with foil and placed in the refrigerator for a day, but I personally recommend one and a half.
