Homemade Mascarpone Tiramisu - three recipes for an Italian classic dessert
The most delicate Italian dessert Tiramisu has long been a favorite delicacy of children and adults around the world. And the third option is a delicious homemade Tiramisu cake with a biscuit in which blueberries are baked.
How to make Savoiardi Tiramisu
We sprinkle the finished biscuit cookies, laid out in rows on a dish, with strong coffee mixed with cognac, and generously coat with cream.
Lay out the 2nd layer of finished biscuits and repeat the same process.
From a pack of cookies (250 gr) you get 2 layers of "cakes". Set aside for a couple of hours (preferably overnight) in the refrigerator for impregnation and solidification. Sprinkle with cocoa powder just before serving.
I like to use sweet cocoa granules for this purpose. It does not absorb into the cream so quickly, which makes the homemade Tiramisu cake look prettier. If desired, you can pour over the dessert with melted chocolate or use grated chocolate to decorate.
How to make no bake tiramisu with cookies
The process of preparing this type of dessert is the same as the previous one. The only difference is that shortbread cookies should not be sprinkled, but dipped in coffee mixed with cognac. After all, any purchased shortbread sugar cookies are harder than Savoyardi biscuit cookies. I buy the usual rectangular cookies "Baked milk", "Chess" or "Strawberry".
We layer, decorate and cool the cookie Tiramisu cake in the same way as in the first recipe. It turns out the finished dessert is very soft and tender.
How to cook Tiramisu with homemade biscuit
As I found out for myself a long time ago, it is not at all necessary to cook Tiramisu from ready-made cookies. I suggest using biscuit cakes , which are easy to cook at home.
You will say that it will no longer be Tiramisu, but I will not agree with you. The taste of the biscuit cake will be the same as a traditional Italian dessert. After all, Savoyardi cookies are also biscuit.
