Chocolate sponge cake with cocoa powder - simple and fluffy
An easy-to-make, delicious and tall cocoa chocolate sponge cake is exactly the recipe that every housewife should have in her cookbook. How to cook chocolate sponge cake with cocoa powder in the oven
To make a successful and tasty biscuit at home, you just need to know some of the secrets and subtleties of baking biscuits at home and follow them exactly. I note that the number of products in this recipe is indicated for a mold with a diameter of 20 cm. So, the cooking steps are step by step:
• heat the oven up to 190 ⁰ С;
• Line a baking dish with parchment paper and grease with butter or margarine;
• Beat whites, 1/3 cup sugar and baking powder (cream of tartar) in a strong thick foam or in a state of stable peaks;
• Dissolve cocoa in hot water and let cool;
• yolks, beat 1/3 cup of sugar until light;
• add cocoa solution to beaten yolks. Pour in gradually, continuing to stir gently until everything is evenly mixed;
• mix flour with starch and sift;
• Gently mix the flour mixture into the yolk mass;
• Gently stir in the whites, adding 1/3 of the mass;
• dough, can be divided into two parts, but you can also bake one high biscuit. In any case, the dough must be laid out in a greased baking dish and gently leveled with a spatula;
• send the form with the dough to the oven. If you bake one high cake, then the baking time is 30-35 minutes, and if you divide the dough into two cakes, then the baking time for biscuits will be reduced to 15-20 minutes;
• after the cake or cakes have cooled, separate them from the paper.
