Cake Banana Delight - a delicious biscuit cake with bananas and curd filling
Every home seeks to replace store-bought sweets with homemade ones. The proposed recipe for a cake with cottage cheese filling and banana slices is very simple and easy to do at home. Even a novice cook with their own hands can easily prepare this masterpiece, which is called very simply - Banana Delight cake. The biscuit described in the recipe is very tender and goes well with cottage cheese and banana filling. Everyone who tries the cake will surely notice it.
To make Banana Delight you will need:
- 1 st. flour;
- 1 tbsp sugar;
- four eggs;
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar;
- 200 gr of cottage cheese;
- 200 gr sour cream;
- 4 pieces of banana;
- 4 tablespoons of sugar;
- jam - optional.

Let's start making biscuits. Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy whitish mass, which increases in volume three times. If the mixer has a low speed, then it is worth separating the whites from the yolks, thoroughly beat the whites with sugar. Then beat the yolks separately and mix with the whites. The more voluminous the egg mass, the looser the biscuit cake will be.
Enrich the flour with oxygen (sift well) and gently fold into the dough with a spatula or spoon.
Pour the biscuit dough into a greased mold.
We bring the oven to the desired temperature and only then place the form with the dough there. Bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees (in a convection oven) at 200 degrees (in an oven without convection). Do not open the cabinet door, otherwise the biscuit will fall. We take out the finished cake from the mold and leave it to cool, preferably on a slatted surface.
How to make curd cream
Cottage cheese needs to be combined with sour cream, add half a banana, 4 tablespoons of sugar and beat until a homogeneous cream. See that the sour cream is thick enough, because the cream will flow because of the liquid. Cut the remaining bananas into slices separately.
Biscuit, at the discretion of the hostess, cut into 2 or 3 parts. We pour jam over each cake if desired, but it’s better not to interrupt the taste and just soak it with ordinary syrup, which is prepared simply: half a glass of water with a tablespoon of sugar + a gram of vanilla. We cover the curd cream on top, and then the banana slices. Thus, form a cake from 2 or 3 cakes, or rather parts of one biscuit. You can decorate the cake as you wish. The easiest way is to crush with chocolate, crushed wafer or glaze. You can lay out thinly sliced bananas, but in this case it is worth considering that they darken quickly and, therefore, it is better to cover them with a layer of jelly.
