At the weekend, she spoiled her relatives with unusually tasty and fragrant honey pastries. I baked a traditional and very tasty lush honey cake with condensed milk in a slow cooker. The result exceeded all expectations. I share a proven recipe with photos that illustrate the process step by step.
So what do we need.
For honey cake:
- honey - 6 teaspoons:
- butter or spread - 20 grams;
- chicken egg - 1 piece;
- sugar - 4-5 tbsp.
spoons; - kefir (2.5%) - 150 milligrams;
- soda - 1 teaspoon;
- vanilla essence - 2 drops;
- wheat flour - 1.5-2 cups (how much dough will take).
For cream:
- condensed milk (boiled or caramelized) - 500 milligrams;
- butter - 150-200 grams.
For decoration:
- sesame seeds (fried) - 20 grams.

How to make fluffy honey cake dough
The main ingredient that gave the name to the cake - honey cake, is honey. Any honey that is available will do. I have candied honey, so before working with it, you need to bring it to a liquid consistency in the microwave. Together with honey, butter can also be sent to the microwave.
In a convenient deep bowl, mix the egg, granulated sugar, soda and kefir. I take medium-fat kefir. Kefir will extinguish soda. Don't forget to add some vanilla essence.
Pour the honey-oil mixture into the rest of the ingredients. Do you feel the aroma? Yes, baking with honey is simply magical.
Be sure to sift the flour through a sieve. And it’s better to do it twice, as my beloved grandmother did. Then the baking will be lush and airy. Add flour and knead the dough.
The consistency of the dough should be like very thick sour cream. The photo shows that the dough does not drain, but slowly slides off the spoon.
How to bake a honey cake in a slow cooker
Send the dough to the bowl of the multicooker, previously greased with butter. Set the program "Baking". Cooking time takes 50-60 minutes depending on the features of the multicooker model.
The finished honey cake will have a bright orange color and a rich honey aroma. Cool pastry at room temperature.
How to make cream for honey cake from condensed milk and butter
Making a cream is not difficult. It is enough to take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft. Mix butter and condensed milk in a deep bowl.
Beat the mixture with a blender until smooth.
When all the components of the dessert are ready, it remains just to assemble and decorate it.
To do this, cut the finished lush honey cake into two or three parts. Coat each part with cream.
On top of the honey cake, you also need to cover with cream and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
