Vanilla custard for milk cake
I really love various creams that perfectly complement pastries and desserts. One of my favorite types of cream is vanilla custard for cake. It cooks very, very quickly, literally about seven minutes, and has an incredible taste. Very soft, flavorful and not greasy. I make custard with milk, without using butter. So we need:
- milk (3.2%) - 250 milligrams;
- sugar - 5 tbsp.
spoons; - premium wheat flour - 2 tbsp.
spoons; - egg - 2 pieces;
- vanilla essence - 2 drops.
How to make custard for milk cake
We start cooking by mixing granulated sugar and a chicken egg in a small saucepan. I recommend using large domestic eggs with a rich yellow yolk. Cream on homemade testicles turns out to be brighter and more useful.
Whisk the egg mixture with a whisk. Add a couple drops of vanilla essence. The essence can be replaced with regular vanillin or vanilla sugar, given what is currently available.
Sift wheat flour of the highest grade. Add a couple of tablespoons to the egg mixture. Flour should be flush with the edges of the spoon, without a slide.
Whisk the egg, sugar, and wheat flour mixture with a whisk until smooth and no lumps form.
Milk to choose the maximum fat content. It is best to use homemade. Warm it up in the microwave or in a water bath. Pour in warm milk, whisking.
Send the pot to the fire. Turn the heat down to low and bring the cream to a thickening, whisking.
Cool the delicious vanilla custard for the cake at room temperature and pour into a convenient container.
After cooling, it will become thicker and hold its shape well. The structure of the custard in milk is very delicate, but at the same time it does not spread.
